Alfa Laval LKAP Valve

The Alfa Laval LKAP is a pneumatic Single Seat Valve featuring a single contact point between the plug and seat, reducing the risk of contamination. Compact and simple in design, it is ideal for use as a remote-controlled shut-off Valve for small flow rates and dosing applications.

The LKAP is an air-operated shut-off Valve widely used for controlling small flow rates and for dosing in hygienic applications across the dairy, food, beverage and chemical industries, among many others.

Proven Shut-Off Valve

The Alfa Laval LKAP Seat Valve is a high-quality pneumatic shut-off Valve built on reliable, proven technology. It is designed to handle small flow rates of up to 9 m³/h and is perfect for specialty applications, such as CIP Supply Valves for Mixproof systems or dosing Valves in mixing processes.

Like all hygienic Alfa Laval Valves, the LKAP boasts a simple and straightforward design, incorporating minimal components and fewer moving parts. Its smooth surfaces and sanitary finishes promote excellent hygiene and ease of cleaning.

Shut-Off Valve Range

The standard Alfa Laval LKAP Valve is designed as a normally closed (NC) valve, available in either a two-port (LKAP-V) or three-port (LKAP-T) configuration. Additionally, upon request, the LKAP Valve can be supplied as a normally open (NO) Valve.

How LKAP Valve Works

The LKAP features an actuator equipped with an air cylinder and piston, along with a double lip seal for the stem and a stem unit that includes a replaceable O-ring in the plug. This normally closed (NC) Valve is designed with weld end connections and is operated remotely using compressed air, with a spring return mechanism for reliable functionality.
