Alfa Laval ThinkTop V50 and V70 are a compact Valve Control Unit for hygienic valves. They offer a single sensor solution and can be fitted with 0 or 1 solenoid Valves, ensuring unmatched control of Alfa Laval DV-ST, Butterfly Valves and Single Seat Valves for use in the Dairy, Food, Beverage, Brewery and Pharmaceutical industries.
The ThinkTop V50 and V70 are compatible with previous versions and can be retrofitted to Alfa Laval Valves. They offer features like Auto, Live, and Flex Setup, which automate the setup process. The V70 includes burst seat clean, while both models offer pulse seat clean, optimising cleaning sequences to save up to 95% of CIP liquid.

ThinkTop V50 and V70 Key Features
Flexible
ThinkTop control units are interchangeable with prior ThinkTop versions, and the appropriate variant is selected based on the number of solenoid Valves. With only one sensor target and included adapter, ThinkTops are easily retrofittable to existing Alfa Laval valves.
Simple Installation
ThinkTop come fitted with features such as Auto Setup, Live Setup and Flex Setup that streamline the setup process, making it quick and easy. Auto Setup and Live Setup recognise the Valve based on its DNA profile and can complete the Valve setup without any manual interaction.

Access the service instruction manual and videos online or get the direct support you need using a convenient QR code located on the Alfa Laval ThinkTop housing.
The V-series fits all Alfa Laval Hygienic Valves. Select the right Alfa Laval ThinkTop valve control unit for your hygienic process needs based on the number of solenoid Valves required. The ThinkTop series fit on top of the Alfa Laval DV-ST, Butterfly, Single Seat, SMP-BC and UMP CIP valves.
How ThinkTop Control Units Work
Installation with Auto Setup or Live Setup is intuitive and fast. To initiate Auto Setup, simply press the “SELECT” button and then the “ENTER” button to begin the setup sequence. The ThinkTop automatically recognises the type of valve and completes the programming sequence fast and efficiently.
Alternatively, the ThinkTop can be set up without dismantling the control head, using the built-in Live Setup feature for remote configuration.
