Alfa Laval Unique SSV (Single Seat Valve)
The Alfa Laval Unique SSV Reverse Acting is a versatile, reliable pneumatic Single Seat Valve with a single contact surface between the plug and the seat to minimise the risk of contamination.
This Valve is offered in two- or three-body configurations, featuring easily customisable Valve bodies, plugs, actuators, and clamp rings. It can function as a shut-off Valve with two or four working ports or as a changeover Valve with three to six ports. The Valve seat between the two bodies ensures assembly flexibility. Its seals are designed for durability and longevity, while the actuator connects to the body using a yoke, and all components are secured with clamp rings.

Pressed from a single stainless steel disc, the Valve body is extremely strong and durable, thus ensuring production safety. The enhanced performance of the actuator makes operation safer and more efficient.

To ensure high sealing quality, the Unique SSV range features defined compression of the O-rings with metal-to-metal contact between plug and seat. This significantly reduces wear and extends Valve service life. The standard Unique SSV is supplied with a semi-maintainable actuator that has a five-year warranty.

Thanks to its straightforward, reliable design, the Unique SSV range provides long service life, reduced product loss, greater product safety and more processing uptime. Few moving parts reduce service requirements and inventory costs. How the Unique SSV Reverse Acting Valve Works
The Alfa Laval Unique SSV Reverse Acting is operated by means of compressed air from a remote location. The actuator smooths operation and protects process lines against pressure peaks. The Valve can be controlled using an Alfa Laval ThinkTop®.
