Application
The (Toftejorg) Alfa Laval TZ-67 Rotary Jet Head offers 3D indexed impact cleaning within a set time period. It is automatic and serves as a guaranteed way to achieve quality assurance in tank cleaning. The device is suitable for process, storage and transport vessels with volumes between 50 and 500 m3 (13,000 to 130,000 US gallons). Used in the brewery, distillery, food and dairy processes and other industries, the TZ-67 is especially well-suited to a portable role where high impact is required.
Working Principle
The movement of the cleaning fluid drives a geared rotation of the nozzles around both vertical and horizontal axes. In the initial cycle, the nozzles mark a basic pattern on the tank surface. Every cycle subsequent increases the density of this pattern, until full coverage is reached after 8 cycles.
Material Certificate, 2.1 (standard)
ATEX (optional)
The choice of nozzle diameters can optimise jet impact length and flow rate at the desired pressure. Complete portable systems can comprise a four-wheel carriage and hose winch. The TZ-67 is supplied with a “Declaration of Conformity” for material specifications as standard.
