Application
The Alfa Laval TJ20G Rotary Jet Head delivers impact cleaning, fully 3D indexed, over a defined period. It is automatic and a guaranteed provision of achieving quality assurance in tank cleaning. Usable in breweries, food and dairy processes, among other industries, the device can be used in processing, storage and transportation vessels between 15 and 150 m3 (4,000 to 40,000 US gallons). The award-winning design is especially effective for use in hygienic industries that follow European Hygienic Equipment Design Group guidelines.
Working Principle
The flow of the cleaning fluid drives the nozzles in a geared rotation around both vertical and horizontal axes. The nozzles mark out a coarse pattern across the tank surface in cycle one, then subsequent cycles gradually increase the density, until a full pattern is reached after 8 cycles.

The high-impact jet stream from the Alfa Laval TJ20G Rotary Jet Head range is designed to cover the entire surface of the tank interior in a successively denser pattern. This achieves a powerful mechanical impact with a low volume of water and cleaning media.
