Application
The Alfa Laval SaniMidget SB UltraPure Rotary Spray Head is purpose-designed to be self-cleaning, self-draining and fully inspectable. Its novel, patent-pending one-clip assembly makes installation, disassembly and inspection easy, without compromising cleanability or drainability. The SaniMidget SB UltraPure efficiently replaces the traditional Static Spray Ball, as it can impact any part of the vessel wall that lies within the 270° upward pattern – at a lower flow rate, with an equally low pressure.
Working principle
The flow of cleaning media creates rotation in the head of the SaniMidget SB UltraPure, laying out fans of water in a swirling pattern on the entire area contacted by the spray pattern. This creates an oscillating impact in the 270° upward pattern and a dynamic cascading jet that coats all interior surfaces of the tank, vessel or reactor. The SaniMidget SB UltraPure is designed according to EHEDG and GMP guidelines and meets the requirements of 3-A standards.
